Photography is defined as "painting with light." I love that, and I love all things photography. Oh, but how that love only grew once I became a Mommy. I wanted to capture every moment of my Daughters life. Thankfully, "Santa" was listening and on Christmas morning, I opened my first DSLR camera {my second baby}. Since only ever using a point and shoot camera, this was a whole new world to me so on my days off {I am a Hospice RN} and while my Daughter was asleep, I read, watched and studied everything on the art of photography. {to the point where I still find myself editing photos in my sleep!}
I am currently capturing a moment a day, for 365 days! I had no idea what a challenge this would be, but I cant wait to have all the wonderful memories made into a photo book for my Daughter. {You will find my photo of the day, listed daily on my page}
Capturing a moment. Documenting life. Freezing a memory. Finding the beauty in each day. Seeing the joy on a Mothers face when she sees a photo of her child. There are many reasons I find myself smiling when looking at the world thru my lens…and for those reasons, and many more, I will continue to capture life's moments, one click at a time.
